April 29: Water service interruption notice

Our infrastructure contractor, Extreme Excavation, is installing a sewer line to serve new homes at 3900 Boulevard Road. The sewer line will pass from Boulevard Road, then down Cedar Park Loop SE, and up Reading Street SE.

Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, construction crews may need to interrupt water service up to two times, lasting as long as one (1) hour each time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Read the full notice for more information.

Construction and community updates

April 2026

  • Extreme Excavation is starting on-site work.
  • Offsite sewer extension is in progress. The sewer line will pass from Boulevard Road, then down Cedar Park Loop SE, and up Reading Street SE.
  • There is a temporary woodchip path on the southern border of the site for access to LBA Woods.
  • For safety, there will be no community access to the site during construction.

  • Final administrative work in-progress.

  • City affordability review complete.
  • Excavation equipment on-site.
  • Final administrative work in-progress.

  • The development’s infrastructure is permit-ready and subcontracted.
  • We are awaiting a final City review for affordability agreements.
  • Once complete, we will begin infrastructure work as weather allows.
  • Expect both on- and off-site work through the winter, spring, and summer of 2026.
