Individuals and families partner with South Puget Sound Habitat to buy their own homes with an affordable mortgage. Future homebuyers prepare for homeownership by helping build their homes, and through a supportive series of classes. Learn more on our affordable homeownership page.

Construction and community updates

  • Extreme Excavation is starting on-site work.
  • Offsite sewer extension is in progress. The sewer line will pass from Boulevard Road, then down Cedar Park Loop SE, and up Reading Street SE.
  • There is a temporary woodchip path on the southern border of the site for access to LBA Woods.
  • For safety, there will be no community access to the site during construction.
  • Final administrative work in-progress.
  • City affordability review complete.
  • Excavation equipment on-site.

  • The development’s infrastructure is permit-ready and subcontracted.
  • We are awaiting a final City review for affordability agreements.
