Our region has a rich tradition of military service. Veterans Build is a day of action that honors members of the armed services past and present.
02. Raise awareness
Veterans are confronted with both high housing costs and the difficulties of aging in place. South Puget Sound Habitat facilitates affordable homeownership and home repairs for qualified applicants.
03. Build community
We’re building homes for all. At Veterans Build, you will work alongside other Veterans to make affordable homeownership possible in our community.
Join us as a builder or help fund our mission.
We provide the tools and training.
Our staff and volunteers will set you up for success. Based on construction progress, activities might include:
- Framing
- Window and door installation
- Weather resistive barrier installation
- Finish carpentry
- Site beautification
Lunch, t-shirt, and community, too.
We’re known for our high-quality t-shirts. And we hope you’ll enjoy lunch with the team.
