South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity creates affordable homeownership opportunities for qualified homebuyers.

Once accepted into the program, homebuyers prepare for homeownership through:
- Education classes
- Guidance meetings
- Helping to build their homes
At the end of the program, homebuyers purchase their new, energy efficient homes with an affordable mortgage. From application to move-in takes about one year.

Currently accepting applications.
3900 Boulevard
Under construction at 3900 Boulevard Road SE in Olympia, this development will feature accessible cottages and townhomes on a 10-acre parcel. Connected by paths to LBA Woods Park. Accepting applications in 2026.
Program eligibility
To qualify:
- Total household income is between 50% and 80% of the area median income (see chart below).
- Live or work in Thurston County for at least twelve consecutive months at the date of the application.
- Be able to qualify for a home mortgage subsidized to up to (33%) of your gross income.
- Have not owned a home in the last three years.
- Attend an information session to learn additional details (see sidebar).
