Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Do you know a low-income family that could use a hand-up? Our Homeownership Application Meetings have been set for the 1st Tuesday of each month and are open to families who dream of owning a home. Attending one of these Homeownership Orientations is the first step out of poverty housing and the only way potential homeowners can receive an application to the Habitat program. Learn more by clicking on the Homeownership tab. Homeownership Application Meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Call us at (360) 956-3456, ext. 5, if you plan on attending.

ReStore Volunteer Spotlight

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

This week I would like to spotlight a very special volunteer that we have in the ReStore. That volunteer would have to be none other then Tom Spears. Tom has been with us for just under a year but is definitely an important part of the ReStore. Tom volunteers nearly every day at the store. While visiting the ReStore if you ever notice why the floors are always swept so well it is definitely because of Tom’s amazing efforts. Tom also enjoys going out on the store pick-ups and deliveries where his work goes above and beyond. Next time you are in the store don’t forget to stop and tell Tom thank you for his amazing effort and work as a volunteer at the ReStore.

To find out how to volunteer at the ReStore, please contact Caleb White, ReStore Manager, at caleb@spshabitat.org.
