Do you know a low-income family that could use a hand-up? Our Homeownership Application Meetings have been set for the 1st Tuesday of each month and are open to families who dream of owning a home. Attending one of these Homeownership Orientations is the first step out of poverty housing and the only way potential homeowners can receive an application to the Habitat program. We are pleased to announce the Groundbreaking Ceremony on Saturday, April 16 of our newest Habitat Build site “Shepherd’s Grove” in Tumwater.

Everyone is invited to meet at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1601 North Street SE Olympia, WA 98501 at 10:00am and walk together to the build site in support of our mission of eliminating substandard housing in Thurston County and making affordable housing a matter of conscience and action.  Program on site begins at 11:00am at 5106 Henderson, Tumwater. Featured speakers include: Our affiliates’ founder Jerry Schultz, current Board President, Diane Bingaman, Executive Director, Curt Andino and Tumwater Official, Mayor Kmet.

Please come and celebrate with our new Habitat Partner Families as they break ground for their new Habitat Homes.
