Who are we?
South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International . We are a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that partners with low-income families to make the dream of home ownership a reality. Since we started the affiliate back in 1988, we have constructed dozens of homes here in Thurston County. In fact, in 2003, we dedicated our first home to be fully sponsored by other local Habitat families. That is, the mortgage payments made by other local Habitat partner families fully paid for construction of yet another Habitat home.
What is our mission?
The mission of South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity is to serve God by engaging the community in empowering people with the hope and opportunity that comes from building and owning their own homes.
